The Premier League season began on 22 August 2018 and concluded on 23 May 2018.
Romelu Lukaku won the golden boot. He scored 28 goals for the team within 28 apps. He also won the PFA best player award as he has the best performance in the league. In the other hand, Marcus Rashford had won the top assist with 16 assist just in front of Isco (14 assist). Manchester United's manager, Craig Shakespeare had won the best manager award, it is the first award to be given to him. Manchester United sat on top the table with 89 point, same as their rival- Liverpool. But Manchester United's goal difference are more than Liverpool, so Manchester United had won the league.
Romelu Lukaku, Marcus Rashford, Isco, Anthony Martial and Nemanja Matic had been nominated in the Team of the Season in the Premier League 2018-2019.

FA Cup
As one of the 20 teams in the Premier League, Manchester United entered the 2018-19 FA Cup in the Third Round.
Manchester United final opponent were Chelsea. Manchester United winning the Cup for a record-equalling thirteen time after a close victory against Chelsea in a 2-3 winning situation on May 16th 2019. Romelu Lukaku won the golden boot. He scored 5 goals in the competition. Romelu Lukaku had also won the Player of the Tournament with his excellent performance. Craig Shakespeare, Manchester United manager also won the best manager award.
Romelu Lukaku, Marcus Rashford, Isco, Anthony Martial, Paul Pogba, Ashley Young, Antonio Valancia and John Stones were nominated in the Team of the Tournament.


  


UEFA Champions League



Group Stage

Manchester United were drawn into Group D with Italian champions Juventus, runner-up from Germany Borrusia Dortmund and Danish champions FC Midtjylland.  Manchester United had drew and lost the first two games. They later won the Danish champions twice and later drew Juventus and Borrusia Dortmund again. They are the third-place finisher in Group D.

UEFA Europa League
As one of the best four third-placed finishers in the Champions League group stage, United were seeded for the Europa League round of 32 draw, along with the group stage winners.
 Manchester United won the champions of Group E - Borrusia M'gladbach with a thrashing victory with a 8-3 agg. 3-1 in home stadium and a 2-5 victory in Borussia-Park.
 In the round of 16, Manchester United face the French team Olympique Marseille. Manchester United continued thrashing Marseille with 1-6 victory in Stade Vélodrome. They then secured the victory in Old Trafford with 3-0 victory and an agg of 1-9, 10 goals in two legs.
 After the round of 16, Manchester United started to face a stronger team, Hoffenheim. Hoffenheim stopped Manchester United's win streak with a 4-4 draw in Wirsol Rhein-Neckar-Arena. Manchester United scored a total of 21 goals just in 7 games. In the home leg, Manchester United won against Hoffenheim with a 3-1 victory. Manchester United continued the journey to the semi-final.
 Manchester United faced an England legendary club Arsenal before facing Arsenal again in the FA Cup semi-final. Arsenal stopped Manchester United goal streak with a 0-0 draw in Erimates Stadium.  After facing Arsenal in the FA Cup, they then continued to face Arsenal thrice in Old Trafford. Manchester United won a 5-3 victory against Arsenal in the second leg. Arsenal dream's broke and Manchester United went through to the final.
 In the final, Manchester United face against the Italian 5th S.S. Lazio. The team who defeated Chelsea in the semi-final with agg 3-1 victory. S.S Lazio had won all matches in the knockout phase. But in the end, Manchester United won the Europa League with a 3-0 victory. Manchester United won the Europa League twice in the history. 

Marcus Rashford and Paulo Dybala shared the 4th place in the top scorer in the Europa League with 6 goals. Alex Sandro in the other hand won the 2nd place in the top assist ranking with 5 assist.
